Equipping Artists in Belgium
In May, a team of four from Inspiro facilitated another Community Engagements Through the Arts course in Belgium. Many of the participants were from the OM ship, Logos Hope. Participants came from a variety of cultural backgrounds, including Chinese, Filipina, Indian, French/Gabonese, French/Roma (gypsy), Mozambican, Kenyan, South Korean, German, and British. One of our favourite things to do is make sure we represent everyone in worship, and we ended up singing in eleven languages! We enjoyed learning about these different cultures as we explored how to dig into them to find art forms that would resonate deeply with the communities we want to reach.
Art of Faith Festival: Coming Home
In May 2025, the third Art of Faith Festival took place in Belgium. It is the only Christian arts festival in the nation. Though historically a Catholic country, most Belgians have long ago rejected Christian faith of any kind, and it's one of the world's most secular atheist nations. So, what better way to encourage and build up the small Christian community than to gather together for a weekend of Christian music, art, dance, workshops, and prayer? And what a great environment in which to invite your not-yet-Christian friends.
See the Lamb of God
At the beginning of this month, our colleagues in the UK published an article about the Arts Experience Labyrinth taking place in Belgium. We have shared about this project before, so we wanted to share this article with you.
