Last week, we had the privilege of talking with one of our team members in Hungary. Recently, she had the opportunity to travel to the border between Ukraine and Hungary and work with the aid organizations offering help there.

On this Archive Wednesday, we are sharing a Heart Sounds International (HSI) article from a trip to South Asia in 2019. Read below the beautiful account of people groups learning to see each other and experience the gospel through the arts. 

We have all been stunned by the crisis in the Ukraine. Ukrainian artists have responded in various ways, seeking to support their country and express the deep emotions surrounding the conflict.

The crisis in the Ukraine has been heavy on all of our hearts over the last weeks. Operation Mobilization has been engaging the situation where they can, working to care for people and share the love of Jesus with them.

Although Epiphany is celebrated on January 6^th, the church observes the season of Epiphany from that point until the beginning of the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday. In the midst of this Epiphany season, what can we learn?

“The Lord said to Moses, ‘See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs [. . .]’”

Our teammates in Kosovo, Aaron and Shpresa, hosted a songwriting workshop in December! They had participated in workshops like this with Heart Sounds International (HSI), but this was their first time to lead one of their own.
