The Color of Thought: An Exhibition by Geinene Carson
Our brains are incredibly intricate organs. From controlling our physical bodies to interpreting non-physical stimuli, the inner workings of the brain remind us that we are, indeed, fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). Artist Geinene Carson has been putting colour and visuals to this truth with her artwork for the past several years, researching and painting neurons. Last month, an exhibition of her work opened at Gallery 1740 in Atlanta*. The exhibition is titled The Colour of Thought and is a body of artwork meant to provide visual encouragement and gentle accountability towards the growing discussion of mental and emotional well-being.
