In Egypt, Dustin was part of a team that performed for 22,500 people at a three-day festival. They worked alongside translators in presenting the Gospel at their performances during the days, and participated in large, stadium events each night in which pastors and evangelists helped to present the Good News. The events were broadcast through the Middle East and North Africa, and more than 6,000 people indicated they put their faith in Christ through the outreach.
In Turkey, Dustin performed in several cities where he gave his testimony to crowds and also invited them to see the Jesus film at a local church in the evenings. One enthusiastic local pastor reported that from one afternoon outreach, 25 people came to watch the film, and 19 of them stayed afterward to discuss it. Dustin also appeared on Turkish national television where he performed and spoke.
In Kenya, Dustin had a busy week of performing in seven schools, four citywide festivals, three church services, one prison, one factory, and one public area, reaching a total of approximately 21,000 people. He was part of a team that partnered with two local churches who ministered through food distribution, job skill workshops, Vacation Bible School, medical clinics and his unicycle performances. As Dustin reported, “We got to pray with a lot of people, both to receive Jesus and for their needs.”
